Zagreb Airport Terminal
Zagreb Airport has recently renewed its main terminal, which opened in 2017 to replace the old terminal.
The building was designed by Branko Kincl and Velimir Neidhard, both of them Croatian Architects.
The new terminal has a capacity for 5 million passengers annually, expandable to 8 million.
Levels
Zagreb Airport Terminal consists of four levels with an amazing wavy roof at the top.
See more details as follows:
Ground level
This is the ground level, where the baggage claim area and meet and greet services can be found.
On the other hand, both Domestic and International arrival gates are located on this level.
Find outside the ground level basic services such as public transportation (buses and coaches), car rental desks, taxi and the public parking.
First level
This is the Arrivals level, where both Domestic and International Arrivals are located. Find also here the Passport Control and the International flights connections.
Second level
This is the Departures and check-in level, split into the Domestic and the International boarding areas.
Find access to the Departure Hall once cleared the security check (in level 3) and to boarding gates 23-28 (International) and 21-22 (Domestic).
Note that Domestic Departures are slightly separated from the International Departures area.
Outside this level there can be found transportation options such as bus and taxi, kiss & fly drop-off area, and access to the parking lots.
Third level
The third level is where the Security and the Passport Control is located. Once cleared, passengers are able to access to the Departures Hall.
